""I like it, I know its helping people and it feels good." Although the answer was short, simple, and to the point it speaks volumes about our newest addition to Volunteer Spotlight, Ben Schneider. A recent graduate of Red Lion Christian School, he has been spending his summer volunteering every day at the food bank. Never shying away from any task, he often requests to stay extra time, and comes in for almost every event we hold. He has in many ways taught us as much, if not more, then we have taught him."

Hunger has spread in York County and we are now fighting hunger not only in our cities but in our suburbs and our rural areas as well.The face of hunger has changed and it’s now affecting your friends, your family, and your neighbors. We need you to join together with us to “Stick it to Hunger.”
