Flood Versus Food
By Jeremy Swiger
York, Pa- As flood waters rose; families across York County became even more uneasy. For local families who have been dealing with food insecurity, this latest tragedy may have been their last. It is in moments like these that we work to come together or fall apart.

Creek Levels as of 10 AM Thursday
As we faced the rising tides of the creek directly beside the food bank, we kept our focus on our mission of fighting hunger in York County. With so many roads closed and buildings dealing with water damage, we consider ourselves lucky to have escaped unscathed, and even more determined to reach out to those in York County who require assistance. It is up to those who have the ability to make the change necessary to help families in our community. We would like to thank eveyrone who worked the last few days to aid local families displaced by floods.
