Grainger has gotten a reputation for offering consumers everything from body wash to tape. There has even been a lot of talk about how well they treat their employees, offering good benefits and a profit sharing program. What is not often brought up is how philanthropic the company is. They work hard to not only offer assistance to those who need it, but to make sure that they are providing that help to the people in the communities of which Grainger is a part.
Grainger has worked with the York County Food Bank before. Anyone who has held a food drive in the past year and requested boxes from the food bank has seen their work. They provided us with a large supply of boxes to be used for everything from collecting donations from food drives to our Senior Box Program. They decided to take their giving one step further this year. They donated a check for $10,000 to be used to feed those in need in York County.
We wanted to offer our sincere thanks to them for their continued support of the York County Food Bank. Because of their efforts and generosity many in our community will be able to rest peacefully knowing that, for at least a little while, their family will have enough to eat.
