Johnson Controls Incorporated has always shown a devotion to the communities in which they operate. Again and again their employees have shown that generosity is not just a company directive, but a mindset of every employee to do as they are able to help those less fortunate than themselves. They continue this community stewardship in a variety of ways.
One such way is through the Blue Sky Involvement Program. Started in 2006, this program invites employees to volunteer within their community, while providing each of the 650 locations internationally that embrace the program with a $1000 grant to be used to help those in need. Since its initiation the program has generated 322.000 volunteer hours through it’s more than 12,500 employees across the world.
On June 28th, Johnson Controls of York collectively decided to award their $1000 grant to the York County Food Bank. This continues a long standing support of the York County Food Bank’s mission to end hunger within our county.

We would like to thank them for their continued support of their local food bank. With this generous donation, many of our friends and neighbors who find themselves in need will be able to be provided for. We are appreciative to this hard working group of men and women who choose to become an integral part of the community, instead of just working within its boundaries. Thank you!
