Johnson Controls' York division designs and manufactures a complete line of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for both residential and light commercial markets. They provide heating, air conditioning, process cooling solutions, equipment maintenance and repair service to a full spectrum of commercial and industrial facilities, and they provide industrial and marine refrigeration systems, control systems, equipment and services.
That's a pretty comprehensive list. But, that isn't all that they do!
Employees at Johnson Controls give their all at work and they do the same for our community. Johnson Controls' employees support many York County non-profit organizations and York County Food Bank is just one of them.
Their support isn't superficial though... they are a giving caring group of people.
Consider that over the last month, Johnson Controls' employees have supported York County Food Bank by contributing 500 pounds of non-perishable food; purchased tickets to the July 23 York Revolution vs. Lancaster Barnstormers baseball game; and secured a $1,000 contribution from the company to support York County Food Bank's efforts to feed hungry York Countians.
Added to that, Johnson Controls employees volunteer at the Food Bank throughout the year sorting donated food and packing food boxes that are distributed in all corners of our county. Two York County Food Bank board members are Johnson Controls employees, devoting countless hours to maintaining a steady supply of healthy food for hungry families.
We are truly grateful to have Johnson Controls' support, and more broadly we are thankful for their efforts to support the many other wonderful organizations that are located in York County that are dedicated to making our county a great place to live and work. Thank you, thank you one and all!
