The York County Food Bank would like to thank a few local companies who have truly stepped up to go above and beyond what is asked of them, and give back to their community.
Etline, the grocery distribution company was kind enough to donate 981 pounds of assorted foods. Food Lion also donated an impressive 400 pounds of meats, breads, and dessert items. Snack America continued their good works, and offered 150 pounds of their tasty snacks. Weis, of East Market Street, was also kind enough to donate 405 pounds of assorted food items. The next time you visit one of these locations offer them a warm thank you for their continued service to the community. This is just another shining example of local companies helping local people. As you know, the York County Food Bank prides itself on keeping all donations in York County. We would like to thank everyone who donates or volunteers with us, for their continued hard work. For more information about donating or volunteering at the York County Food Bank call 717.846.6435 ext 104 or email jeremys@yorkfoodbank.org.
