Local JCI Employees Work For York County

We are always appreciative for companies in York County who go above and beyond. More then just providing a product or service and jobs to our community; they choose to donate time, money, and resources for the benefit of everyone. Some company's take it a step farther. Johnson Controls Incorporated (JCI) has always demonstrated a commitment to give back as a company, but it also encourages it's employees to do the same.
The employees have shown that they value generosity and kindness and have taken personal steps to help those who are less fortunate then themselves. They furthered their commitment on Wednesday, July 13th by having their IT Department pay a visit to the York County Food Bank. The twelve employees were an enormous help, working to sort food, prepare large orders for our distribution partners, and preparing our main floor for more food.

Although it was a warm day, they rose to the occasion, working feverishly and not shying away from any task. We cannot begin to say how appreciative we are for the volunteers that come in to help us on a daily basis.

It is their hard work and York County's generosity that allows us to strive to complete our mission of ending hunger within our county. We would like to thank the employees of JCI for their continued support of the York County Food Bank's mission, and for all of their hard work, making our county a better place to live and work.
