Metro Bank gives $1000.00 for Turkeys

York County Food Bank grateful for Metro Banks support !

HARRISBURG, Pa. (Nov. 23, 2011) — Metro Bank has donated $1,000 to the York County Food Bank’s Turkey Fund. The bank’s donation will help the food bank overcome a shortage of turkeys for Thanksgiving and provide needed support during the holiday season.

 

Metro Bank is also providing employee volunteers to assist with sorting and separating food items at the food bank.

 

“Metro Bank is pleased to help the York County Food Bank provide for local families in need,” said Metro Bank Retail Market Manager Mary Wilt-Smith. “We hope our contribution makes the holidays brighter for families who are assisted by this important community organization.”
