Petco Continues Their Support in York County

By Jeremy Swiger
Petco, long known for allowing pets to shop right by their owners, has continued their support of the York County Food Bank. They recognize that, whether it be furry or feathered, our pets are members of our families. When it comes to these trying economic times, many families are having to make tough decisions, and in some cases, have to give up their pet because they can't afford to maintain them. Petco is teaming up with the York County Food Bank to make sure local families don't have to give up their pets.
Each month they collect donations to be donated between the York County Food Bank and the York SPCA. Customers can donate food, shampoo, bedding, toys, and anything else someone could need to keep their pet. They even offer gift packs at the register. For the donation of a $1 you donate a can of food and a tennis ball or cat toy to a local animal in need. For more information on how you can help a local pet, email jeremys@yorkfoodbank.org or visit the Petco on Loucks Road.
