One More Reason It's Great to Live In York County

This past Saturday, January 22nd, the volunteers at the York County Food Bank showed us one more reason why it's great to live in York County. Arriving briskly at 9 AM the group of 16 came to the food bank with one goal in mind. The task this chilly Saturday morning was to put together over 600 Senior boxes. The York County Food Bank offers local senior citizens who are in need of supplemental groceries a box of necessities, such as juice, cereal, canned vegetables, pasta, and peanut butter. On a Saturday morning, when many of us think fondly of staying under the covers where it's warm, these brave and selfless individuals were loading the senior boxes. This is why it's great to live in York County, York County gives back!
