Voith Drops The Pounds, and Donates Them to York County Food Bank

Although New Years seems like so long ago, one local company is getting invested in their employee's weight loss goals. Recently the Executive committee and the Employee Wellness Committee of Voith Hydro Inc set up a weight loss competition similar to the popular NBC show "The Biggest Loser." 

                                       

Just to provide a little extra incentive for the employees to shed the pounds, they offered to match the total number of pounds lost, $1 a pound, to be donated to the York County Food Bank. The employee participation level was outstanding with the overall weight loss totaling at a staggering  627 pounds. 

                                

                                

We would like to thank them for all of their hard work and their generous donation to the York County Food Bank. Congratulations are also in order for a fantastic job losing all of the weight. Not only will more York County residents be healthier, many more will have food for their families tonight.
