Walmart Steps Up to the Podium

Walmart has always worked to demonstrate the ability to provide reasonably priced products to its millions of customers around the world. Recently though we had the opportunity to see the second half of the superstore's motto in action. The North Hanover and Shrewsbury Walmart were kind enough to donate $1000 each, to end hunger in York County. At a ceremony earlier today we were able to see the managers of the North Hanover Walmart step up to the podium, and do their part to help families in our community "live better." 

The donation was provided through the Walmart Foundation, who offers local non-profit agencies assistance in completing their all important mission. This financial quarter the foundation was able to donate $25,000 through the North Hanover Walmart. Other recipients included the Children's Miracle Network and a local group that benefits veterans. We would like to thank Walmart for their help in completing our mission. With their donation we will be able to make sure even more families are able to have enough to eat each day.
